This booklet, which was published in 1925, appears in a Ministry of Religions and Arts file dated the same year. This booklet was the second official declaration of Pentecostal faith submitted to the Romanian authorities as part of their requests for official recognition. The first appeal by a Pentecostal believer came in 1924 but this was rejected by the Ministry of Religions in Decision no. 5734 of the 29th January 1925. The Ministry declared that the ‘Declaration of True Foundation’ (Declararea [sic] fundamentului adevărat) did not offer sufficient guarantees to meet the conditions of article 22 of the Constitution. A new declaration in the form of this booklet entitled 'Short statement on the principles of the Churches of God (Pentecostals)’ was attached to the second request for official recognition. This was also rejected with Decision no. 24536 of 1928 in which it was reaffirmed that Pentecostal communities remained on the banned list.

Also included is in this file is a similar declaration of faith simply entitled Declaration (Memoriu) submitted to the Ministry of Religions and Arts in January 1925 by representatives of The Brethren (known as Creștin după Evanghelie, Christians of the Gospels in Romanian) from the city of Ploiești as part of an appeal for recognition of their community.

Publicată în 1925, această broșură face parte dintr-un dosar al Ministerului Cultelor și Artelor din același an. Broșura constituie al doilea memoriu înaintat de confesiunea penticostală autorităților române în cadrul demersurilor de recunoaștere oficială. Prima cerere a fost depusă de un credincios penticostal în 1924, fiind însă respinsă de Ministerul Cultelor prin Decizia nr. 5734 din 29 ianuarie 1925. Ministerul motiva atunci că „Declararea [sic] fundamentului adevărat” nu oferea suficiente garanții conform articolului 22 din Constituție. Un nou memoriu sub forma acestei broșuri intitulate Scurtă expunere a principiilor Bisericilor lui Dumnezeu (Penticostale) a fost anexat la a doua solicitare de recunoaștere oficială. Și aceasta a fost respinsă conform Deciziei nr. 24536 din 1928, în care se reafirma menținerea comunităților penticostale pe lista cultelor interzise.
Broșura apare în ANIC, Fond Ministerul Cultelor și Artelor, nr. 172/1925 alături de alte documente privitoare la mai multe așa-numite secte și, în special, la prezența acestora în rândul armatei. Tot în acest dosar, se regăsește și o altă mărturisire de credință intitulată simplu Memoriu depusă la Ministerul Cultelor și Artelor în ianuarie 1925 de către reprezentanții Creștinilor după Evanghelie din orașul Ploiești în cadrul solicitării recunoașterii oficiale a comunității lor.
