James Kapaló will deliver the keynote lecture at the British Association for the Study of Religions annual conference on 2nd September at Leeds Trinity University

Entitled “Performing Clandestinity: The Religious Underground, the Secret Police and the Media in Eastern Europe”, this lecture will present some of the latest findings of the Hidden Galleries project relating to the complex relationship between the secret police and state propaganda during communism and post-communism.
